SETS, COSTUMES & LIGHTING
The sets and costumes are by MARIE-JEANNE LECCA who makes her Dallas Opera debut as scenic designer. Originally from Romania, she studied at the Beaux Arts Institute in Bucharest and now lives in London.
A glimpse at some of her sketches of the stage sets and costumes (shown above) will tell why she has a long list of opera credits to her name and why she continues to be in demand as a designer at major European and American opera companies: her designs are cohesive, imaginative, and evocative.
Lighting is by MARK MCCULLOUGH who is also making his Dallas Opera debut with this production. He has a successful career designing lighting for leading opera and theater companies in Europe and North America.
